FROM PUDGY TO PLASTIC: Pudgy Penguins Partner With Schleich To Bring Pax And Polly To Life As Collectible Figurines!

You’ve seen their GIFs, you’ve collected their trading cards, and most of us have probably spotted them at our local Target. Now, Pax and Polly are coming to collectors in figurine form through an all new partnership with a European toy company that will send them waddling across the continent!

Pudgy Penguins were flipping on Friday after the brand announced its all new partnership with Schleich, a 91 year old German toy manufacturer known for its collectible figurines.

“A new chapter for Pudgy Penguins’ European expansion begins with our schleich® partnership, one of the world’s leading toy manufacturers,” Pudgy Penguins tweeted this morning. “Introducing the schleich® Collectible Figurines Series 1, available worldwide exclusively on the Pudgy Penguins Shop. “

 

 

This first series features 2.5 inch Pax and Polly figurines that collectors can either keep in their boxes or open up and connect together, all for $19.99 USD.

While the figurines officially went on sale today, the huddle actually got its first look at them months ago in Germany.

 

“We first showcased the schleich® Collectible Figurines Series 1 in Nuremberg back in January and people absolutely loved it,” Pudgy Penguins Community Lead Becca tweeted. “Getting to meet the schleich® team and see their excitement around Pudgy Penguins firsthand made this partnership so much more meaningful. They saw the potential in an IP that could bring something different to the traditional animal category, while still fitting naturally into their world."
