FROM SHOE GAME TO SHOE GANG: Gutter Cat Gang Is Getting Ready To Drop Three New, Limited Edition Sneakers, Inspired By The Collection's Tatted Traits!

From shoe game to shoe gang! The Gutter Cat Gang is getting ready to upgrade its cats’ kicks with an all new, limited edition sneaker drop!

 

On Tuesday, the Gutter Cat Gang announced that it was stepping off-chain and into the world of sneakers with three graffiti inspired shoes that pay homage to the collection’s tatted traits.

“Merging digital identity with premium real-world drip,” the project tweeted. “The Gutter Cat Gang limited-edition sneaker drop is approaching. 100 pairs only per edition. Elite Gutter quality. Unmistakable Gutter style. Which pair are you locking eyes on first?

 

As the Gazette previously reported, the Gutter Cat Gang kicked off the year under new leadership after longtime NFT collector and community member Doggtor took over the project, promising a new era for the OG collection.

"Taking over the Gutter wasn't just a business decision for me; it was a commitment to one of the most resilient, authentic and gutter communities in this space,” Doggtor told the Gazette earlier this year. “The history of the Gutter Cat Gang is legendary, and my goal is to ensure its future matches that legacy. We aren't just building a project; we’re honoring the belief our holders have shown for years by finally giving them the dedicated development and transparency they deserve."

 

For Doggtor, this upcoming sneaker drop is more than just cool shoes, it represents the cats’ comeback!

 

“The Gutter brand was built on a foundation of resilience and hard work, and taking over the project meant channeling that exact same energy to deliver what this community truly deserves,” he said. “The design inspiration comes straight from the streets of the Gutter....paying homage to the classic Gutter Cat fur and the distinct aesthetic that made everyone fall in love with this project in the first place. It’s a physical manifestation of our community's grind.”

 

Tonight, we still do not know exactly when these shoes will drop, but Doggtor told the Gazette that it will be soon and that cats will get the first swipe  at the sneakers.
