What do you get when a Bored Ape and four NFT Frens from the metaverse make their way into the real world? A five part show that’s anything but boring and totally “Rad!”

 

On Tuesday, Web3 streaming platform Rad TV dropped the third episode of its The Real Metaverse TV show, spotlighting the fact that it features none other than Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian’s primate, Pete!

 

“From our perspective it was a no brainer to include an ape,” Rad TV’s Head of Community Cameron told the Gazette. “This series would have been lacking if the pinnacle project that onboarded so many to the space was left out. The fact that it’s Alexis’s ape is really special, and a cherry on top, as Reddit has been such a strong component and supporter of NFTs and the communities that create, trade, and love them.”

 

The Real Metaverse follows Ohanian’s Ape alongside a Cool Cat, a World of Women, a Doodle, and a Roboto as they try to navigate the real world as JPEGs.

“In our opinion this is the highest production value for any show with NFT IP to date,” Cameron said. “The founder of Reddit’s Ape is in the show. 5 flagship NFTs that have huge communities. Onchain ownership and the content hits every device on earth. If people in crypto aren’t excited about this they should check their pulse. Especially if they’re in one of the communities featured.”
