'FULFILL& ACCELERATE THE VISION': Yuga Labs Announced Four New Otherside Partnerships Today!

Things were anything but boring across the Yugaverse this morning as Yuga Labs announced a list of new partnerships with four metaverse companies in an effort to 'build a technologically versatile Otherside.'

On Wednesday, Yuga Labs announced that it had new partnerships with the spatial technology company Hadean, the platform technology company AccelByte, the gaming studio Bad Rhino Studios, and the gaming studio and publisher Faraway, according to a press release from Yuga Labs.

“A core objective of Otherside is to enable people to achieve their creative, experiential, and economic goals," Otherside General Manager Eric Reid said in a press release. "The key to delivering a disruptive product of this scale is deep collaboration with creators and technologists. These best-in-class companies are aligned with our vision of Otherside as an interoperable platform built with, and in service of, our communities."

The new partnerships that Yuga Labs announced today are part of Yuga Labs' grand plan to accomplish their ambitious Otherside goals.

"The headline here is really just need a lot of diff tech partners to fulfill and accelerate vision for Otherside," Yuga Labs Co-Founder Garga said this afternoon. "Which was always the plan tbh."

Along with Yuga Labs’ new partnership announcement, the company also announced that it would be joing the OMA3’s board and working towards an open interoperable metaverse.

OMA3 is “a collaboration of Web3 metaverse platform creators, according to the organizations website. “Our goal is to ensure virtual land, digital assets, ideas, and services are highly interoperable between platforms and transparent to all communities. OMA3™ is open to all Web3 metaverse builders.”

The OMA3 is made up of 49 members including Animoca Brands, Dapper Labs, Sandbox, and Alien Worlds.

Following today’s partnership announcements, Yuga Labs reiterated its commitment to building in public and promised more demos and behind the scene looks at Otherside going forward.
