FUNDING FUN: ApeCoin Is Looking To Make ApeFest 2025 A Movie By Supporting Community Led Events!

From Elvis’ Viva Las Vegas in 1964 to the wild ride of The Hangover in 2009, Las Vegas has always been a movie! Now the Bored Ape Yacht Club will be making its premiere in Sin City this October, and ApeCoin wants to bankroll community side events and more, in hopes of making it the stuff of legends!

On Wednesday, the ApeCoin team took to Twitter to announce that it’s looking to fund and support community led events surrounding ApeFest 2025.

“ApeCo is officially running back the ApeFest Event Support Program, with the help of @ThankApe, to activate community-led experiences throughout Vegas,” the team tweeted.

 

 

Everyone is invited to apply for funding, but the team is looking for epic plans, not small, undeveloped ideas.

“Only apply if you have laid the groundwork for an event. We are looking to fund plans, not ideas,” ApeCoin wrote. “Expect to provide a detailed Event Deck including venue, time, day, cost breakdown, theme, signage, size, etc. We want to see your vision and costs… Make it epic. We want to see great themes, a wide range of sub-communities and local groups represented, creativity, and events imbued with the Ape spirit. Give us the whole vision, brand tf out of it, bring the hype, make a splash.”

With today’s funding announcement, ApeFest 2025 is shaping up to be an insane movie, at least the parts we’ll actually remember!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the main event takes place Friday, October 24th at Area 15. ApeChain will sponsor ComplexCon that weekend, and the first ever Poker Ape Poker Classic is scheduled for Sunday.
