GAME ON: HV-MTL's First Charge Launches On Otherside, And Everyone's Invited To Power Up And Ape In!

The gears are turning, the bots are charged up, and it's time to put the pedal to the HV-MTL on Otherside!
On Wednesday, HV-MTL launched the first iteration of its Otherside experience, dubbed First Charge, and anyone and everyone is invited to power up and ape in!
“HV-MTL: First Charge is now live in @OthersideMeta,” the project tweeted. “Collect gems, race the clock, climb the leaderboard. Who can play: Everyone. HV-MTL, Evo 2 and Pets holders can use a default avatar based on types held. Non-holders can use their Voyager avatar.”
To check it out, simply head to the Otherside Nexus and take a left at the Koda Temple.
During the first phase of the game, HV-MTL holders can play as either the project's mascot, J3FF, or the base version of their own bot.
“Really excited for today’s launch of the @HV_MTL First Charge,” HV-MTL Owner Adam Weitsman tweeted. “This community testing phase is the start of what we are working on for the long-term vision of the project, and we appreciate you helping us kick the tires as we build. I am looking forward to your feedback and seeing some gameplay action! Thank you for your patience.”
As the Gazette previously reported, Weitsman first announced that the game was coming to Otherside back in May, saying it was part of the team's plan to bet big on the metaverse and work closely with Yuga Labs.
“I’m interested in us being one of the main targets to be on Otherside. I want us to go all in on Otherside,” Weitsman said. “As they build this to be incredible, we want to play an important role there. I’m not looking to be a project on the sidelines here.”
Looking ahead, Weitsman and the HV-MTL team plan to launch Phase 2 of First Charge, complete with rewards and prizes exclusively for HV-MTL and Pet holders. So community members, it's time to hit the track and start training.
