GET READY FOR GLACIA!: Command Line Is Set To Drop A New Icy Blitz Map On Otherside Tomorrow!

Get ready for firefights and frostbite!

On Wednesday, Web3 gaming studio Command Line will launch the next iteration of its popular third person shooter, Blitz, that’s set in an all new icy Otherside location.

 

“Something cold is coming to BLITZ…,” the studios tweted. “New map. New mechanics. New way to dominate. BLITZ: GLACIA drops on  @OthersideMetaApril 8.”

 

 

 

This new Glacia map will mark the game’s third location and give Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more their first look at the snowy regions of Otherside, which make up roughly 6% of the world’s land.

 

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Command Line’s first iteration of Blitz took place inside the Bored Ape Yacht Club bathroom and was first launched back in August 2025

It was also the first third party game built and launched on Otherside using Yuga Labs’ Otherside Development Kit. These are the same tools every Otherdeed holder is expected to eventually have access to, making Blitz a real proof of concept for Yuga Labs’ vision of a user generated metaverse.

 

“As we’ve been developing Otherside we’ve been focused on the ODK for people to build on the platform and ship,” Garga previously said. “We are strong believers that modding and UGC is the biggest unlock for gaming and that Web3 rails make a whole lot more sense than Web2 will ever be able to do.”
