Get ready to cluck around and find out!
On Monday, Yuga Labs Vice President of Blockchain 0xQuit's highly anticipated Abstract Chickens will mint on the soon to close Layer 2, inviting everyone to participate in an onchain game of chicken to see who can hold out the longest before the network goes dark!

“How long can you hold your nerve,” he wrote on the project’s website. “Abstract is shutting down, the chickens are fleeing the coop. First, we play chicken. Then, we hatch.”
Tomorrow's mint will begin at 3 P.M. ET and take place across seven 30-minute phases, with a focus on rewarding the Abstract community.
In total, 3,333 Abstract Chickens will be clucking onto the blockchain at a mint price of 0.01 ETH each.
While tomorrow's mint will be exciting, the real fun inside the coop won't begin until December 8, just one week before Abstract is scheduled to shut down!

That's when holders will be invited to flee the coop by moving their NFTs from Abstract to Ethereum mainnet. But there's a catch, the longer they wait to make their move, the bigger their potential payout!
“Later exits receive bigger payouts,” 0xQuit tweeted. “Anybody who does not exit before the chain closes forfeits both their NFT and ETH to the coop. The last chicken to successfully exit gets half of that forfeited pot, the other half is distributed to everybody that successfully exited (weighted by exit order).”
