The ApeCoin DAO’s second election season is in full swing and while many $Ape holders know every nominee’s positions and what they plan to do if elected, not everyone knows the candidates on a personal level!
In an effort to get to know who is running for $Ape Office, the Bored Ape Gazette recently sent out a nine-item questionnaire to each candidate to find out more about them and their Web3 journey to get to know the person behind the keyboard!
One of those candidates is Lola_Creates who is running for a Steward position on the ApeCoin DAO’s newly formed Governance Working Group and is also running for Special Council.
“I think the community should vote for me because I’m a creative problem-solver and have non-profit governance experience,” Lola_Creates said when asked why the community should vote for her. “I see both being very valuable in helping steer a decentralized organization.”

1.What’s your favorite web3 memory?
“My favorite web3 memory was the day I got my MAYC. It was the most I’d spent on anything for myself in a very long time, and it marked an achievement for me in this new world I had found. I can’t remember the last time I jumped up and down like that out of joy and excitement.”
2. When was the first time you got rug pulled?
“I think the first time was a project called Epic Wizards. Everything was going seemingly ok, they even did a companion drop, and then without notice the Discord and Twitter disappeared. Rugged.”
3. What was your best trade and worst crypto trade?
“I’m really not a trader. I’d like to learn more, but I don’t know what I’m doing, so my best trade was probably $ens -> $eth -> MAYC. My worst “trade” was buying the $pepe top.”
4. What was your first job and what was your most recent job?
First Job: Hostess at a restaurant called Texas Roadhouse.
Most Recent Job: Producer and editor on a reality show (airing now on TLC and Max!!) called “90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise.”
5. What’s your favorite movie, book, and game?
Movie: “I don’t have just one, but a few of my favorites are “Pulp Fiction,” “Legally Blonde,” “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,” “Shawshank Redemption,” “Selena,” I could keep going. There are way too many.”
Book: “Beartown” series, “Outliers” and others by Malcom Gladwell, “Gone Girl,” and the “Conversations with God” series.”
Game “My favorite game right now is “Animal Crossing,” but I don’t get much time on the Switch these days.”
6. What do you do in your free time?
"I’m a mom. What is this “free time” you speak of and where can I find it!?
7. What’s a random fact about you?
“I love cilantro.”
8. Do you have anything else you’d like the community to know about you before they vote?
“Even though I may not have the largest social following and am fairly new to the DAO, I’m extremely confident in my abilities to fulfill either of the roles I’m running for. I’m a good leader, easy to work with, and have experience within similar organizations. My work ethic is top notch and I pride myself on being a skilled problem-solver who can remain neutral during conflict. “
9. Last question what’s the first word that comes to mind when I say ApeCoin?
“Fun!”
The window to vote in the ApeCoin DAO's first round of Special Council and Governance Working Group Steward elections is currently open and $Ape holders have until June 21st to cast their coins for their preferred nominees.
After the first round of voting, the top five vote getting nominees will move on to the second round of voting and officially become candidates. The DAO will then conduct one more election from June 22nd to 28th, during which the community will elect two Special Council members and two Working Group Stewards.
