Charizard will soon be meeting Curtis around the swamp after Solana’s #1 collectible capital market, Collectors Crypt, announced it will be launching a spinoff dApp on ApeChain that aims to turn NFT enjoyers into Pokémon trainers.
“Slab is coming to ApeChain,” the company tweeted. “Prepare to unpack grails on @apecoin, powered by @Collector_Crypt.”
“Honestly did not think I'd ever be announcing something like this, but working with the Ape guys has been a pleasure, and we're just getting started,” Slab Creator Nobi tweeted. “The EVM will house all onchain collectibles, composable across all L2s.”
Once live on ApeChain, users will be able to buy physical cards onchain, rip digital packs, and become the very best… like no one ever was!

At the time of publication, it’s still unclear exactly when Slab will go live on ApeChain. However, ApeCoin’s Head of DeFi, 0xSimpleFarmer, teased that it will be happening sometime this week.
