Gucci's Otherside Relics KodaPendant Drop Is Tonight. Here's What You Need To Know

Gucci’s Otherside Relics drop is taking place in about 30 minutes and many Voyagers are excited to break on through to the Otherside in style!

Less than two weeks after Gucci announced a multi-year partnership with Yuga Labs, the luxury fashion house announced its Otherside Relics collection and told the world that the company is taking its first steps into the Otherside.

“The KodaPendant, an Otherside Relic by Gucci, is a digital and physical piece that represents Gucci’s entry into Otherside,” the luxury Fashion House wrote. “Limited to 3,333 KodaPendants.”

These 3,333 KodaPendants will cost 450 $Ape each and will available exclusively to Vessel and Koda Holders. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, all Otherdeed holders can now claim one Vessel per Otherdeed they own.

Upon purchasing a KodaPendant, a Voyager’s Koda or Vessel will undergo a metadata change. Following this update, a Voyager's NFT will now be wearing a KodaPendant and have a Gucci frame.

“Reminder, you can only use the art of a Koda wearing a KodaPendant for personal purposes, Yuga Labs reminded Voyagers this morning, “However, you may use the art displaying your Koda without the KodaPendant for commercial purposes.”

Along with this instant metadata update, Voyagers who purchase a KodaPendannt tonight will also receive cosmetic upgrades to their 3D characters in the Otherside later this year and they will be able to claim a physical KodaPendant this summer, according to Gucci.

Earlier today, Gucci’s Michael Barilaro gave the community a sneak peak at Gucci’s physical KodaPendant.
