HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Yuga Labs' Social Lead Ngbshpend Turned 27 Years Old Today!

Bored Ape Yacht Club members showed up on Friday to wish Yuga Labs' Social Lead, Ngbshpend, a Happy Birthday and to thank him for all the work he does around the swamp!

PP Man wasn't the only Bored Ape celebrating a birthday at the club today; Ngbshpend turned 27 years old, and the club turned up to wish him well!

Apes flooded the timeline with derivative art based on Ngbshpend’s Bored Ape, Bored Ape#1407, and wrote heartfelt messages to this pillar of the community.

“Happy birthday to the rock of the entire BAYC,” Mutant Hounds Founder Lior.Eth tweeted. "The first person to make me feel at home, who inspired me to build in this space. Thanks for your kindness, your relentless work, and all you’ve brought to our big family.”

As the birthday wishes flooded in, Ngbshpend told the Gazette that he’s amazed by this community’s artistic abilities and that he’s having a great birthday even though he has to share it with PP Man.

“It’s been beyond incredible to see the amazing art pieces from our favorite community artist and I’ve been saving them all to put into a special place in my derivative/art collection,” Ngbshpend said. “Personally I think having the same Bday as PPman is over rated! Feels like he’s trying to ride off my shine.”

This weekend, Ngbshpend is heading down south to Miami to spend time with his family, touch sand, and unplug for a bit before returning to the BAYC on Monday!
