High Profile Record Producer/ Songwriter, Frank Dukes, Joined The BAYC.
Updated: Feb 8
Record producer and songwriter, Frank Dukes joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club late Monday evening.
“just hoped on bored @boredapeyc. #apefollowape,” Dukes tweeted along with a photo of Bored Ape #9142.
Bored Ape #9142 is a six trait tan fur ape with a sushi chef headband and bloodshot eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #9142 is the 7616th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools. Dukes purchased Bored Ape #9142 for 37.42 Eth or about $175,000 usd three days ago, according to Opensea data.
In the past, Dukes has worked with some of the biggest names in music including The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Drake, Lamar, and Post Malone.
“apes are culture,” BAYC member TropoFarmer tweeted.
Based on Duke’s past work with many famous musicians, some in the BAYC are asking if he will introduce these singers to the BAYC.
“Welcome a bored, @FrankDukes! look at all those names he worked with,” BAYC member JBond tweeted. “Any chance you can bring them a bored too?”
Duke’s replied to JBond simply stating that he’s, “ working on it.”
There is a good chance that Duke’s will be able to onboard the musicians that he’s worked with because high profile rappers have already been apeing into the BAYC.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Lil Baby and Richthekid have both recently joined the BAYC and the former even performed at Ape Fest!
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow this story and let you know who joins the club next.
