HOODIE SEASON: Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner Said That He Wants The Club To Drop A 'Soft And Lightweight BAYC Zip-Up Hoodie!'

It’s always hoodie season around the Bored Ape Yacht Club after Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner took to Twitter and shared that he wants to see the club release a zip-up hoodie: ‘So let it be written, so let it be done.’

Hoodies are a huge part of the Web3 ethos, and every crypto degenerate’s closet is filled with a series of black hoodies from merch drops over the years. While everyone around the swamp loves a good hoodie, the club is split almost 50/50 when it comes to zip-ups, according to a Twitter poll by BAYC Creative Director Jeff Nicholas.

While the community is split on their preferred type of hoodie, Gordon Goner aped into the comment section with his fully zipped support for ‘a super soft and lightweight BAYC zip-up hoodie.

“When I first proposed we do a BAYC zip-up hoodie: Greg, Zeshan, and Kerem all called me a boomer,” Goner wrote. “I now see it is because they are weak and require extra layering to protect their weakyness. The strong demand a super soft and lightweight BAYC zip-up hoodie. So let it be written, so let it be done.”

 

Last night’s post wasn’t the first time that Goner has shown the community that he’s a fan of zip-up hoodies. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Goner shared a photo of himself in an unzipped hoodie in the middle of his $2 million NFT shopping spree in November 2023.
