“I’D ENCOURAGE YOU TO PARTICIPATE”: ApeCoin’s Ryan Smith Hints At ApeChain XP System That Tracks Engagement And More!

Whether you’ve been blasting ApeChain NFTs into orbit all week or are just deciding to take flight tonight, everyone should be taking part in ApeCoin’s latest onchain NFT initiative, Exodus Rising, because there may be more to this mission than meets the eye, according to ApeCoin's Ryan Smith.

It’s Day 3 of ApeCoin’s Project Exodus, which means another 12 communities have been invited to blast off from the swamp in search of a cure  and in hopes of winning floor sweeps for their favorite collections and maybe even a spacesuit wearing Mutant Ape for themselves!

 

But while floor sweeps and Mutant Ape grand prizes are great, they aren’t the only thing in orbit during this activation.

Earlier this week, ApeCoin’s Head of Product Ryan Smith hosted a Space alongside DengsOnApe Founder and creator of Exodus Rising, KingPickle, where they discussed XP and how participation may play a role in the future.

“We’ve talked a lot about how XP works within the ApeChain ecosystem for these things. We’re taking notes of your activity in this activation,” Smith said.  “Just like we are taking notes of your activity across InfoFi campaigns and other things we are doing, for things we build in the future that might relate to making sure that everybody feels their contributions to the ecosystem that we are building here together. I’d just encourage you to participate.”

This isn’t the first time that an XP system has been hinted at by the ApeCoin or Yuga Labs teams. And while nothing is confirmed about how XP will function, it’s clear that everything is counting toward something.
