Just Before The Summoning Began, The BAYC Released "Issue 1" Of Its Animated Comic.

Just before the summoning event last night, the Bored Ape Yacht Club released “Issue 1” of its animated comic.

“We’ve Dookey’d and we’ve dashed," the BAYC tweeted right before the summoning along with issue 1 of the club’s animated comic. “Now the holder of the Key can begin to fulfill Gary the Dog Prophet’s prophecy by releasing the power from within the Box. The Summoning begins in one hour…”

The animated comic that the BAYC included in its tweet began with Jimmy the Monkey making his way out of the outhouse and into the swamp surrounding the club. And as the mischievous monkey left the scene, he dropped his hat.

The next panel in the BAYC’s animated comic focused in on the holder of the Key who retrieved the important item from Jimmy The Monkey’s butthole.

The holder of the Key then used the item to open the mysterious box that the BAYC's mascot, Curtis, received from the Toilet Knight from the Trial Of Jimmy The Monkey Prologue video on December 21st, 2022.

The key clicked and wiggled around before it finally unlocked the mysitical box and revealed a Power source and what looked like golden bone.

As the holder of the Key went to touch the bone, a zapp happened and a massive orb appeared in the swamp.

The following panel of the club's animated comic showed the viewer th3e orb's point of view, looking back at the Bored Apes!

The video then flashedto the next panel where Gary the Dog Prophet is watching as the Apes watch the orb.

The video ends with the words “to be continued” and one last shot of the holder of the Key holding the golden bone and Gary giving the viewer and intriguing look and a wink.
