From kicking to collecting, Clutch Markets is bringing the magic of Panini World Cup sticker albums onchain, challenging collectors everywhere to pick up a pooch from every nation this summer during the World Cup!

On Sunday, Clutch Markets announced a new Collector's Album challenge for its PupCup project, bringing the fun of completing a full set onchain with a customizable canine from the project's flagship Pixel Pups collection up for grabs!

“Collect at least one card from every nation competing in the 2026 World Cup and complete your album to receive a two free Pixel Pup NFTs that you can burn to fully customize into your own 1-of-1 character within the collection,” Clutch Markets tweeted. “The challenge is simple: Can you collect them all?”

“Another cook by a community dev at  @ClutchMarkets,” Clutch Markets Founder 0xSimpleFarmer tweeted. “As we continue to improve on what is the best World Cup DeFi protocol and token in the world. Volume and the floor is picking up daily as we move towards the start of the tournament. And I’m itching to complete my team. The question is which 2026 World Cup nation has the best striker(s)”

As the Gazette previously reported, Clutch Markets' PupCup is a World Cup based onchain trading card experience that soccer fans and collectors alike are sure to get a kick out of.

Over the five week tournament this summer, collectors can buy, sell, trade, and stake these pups in hopes of winning millions of the project's native $K9 token!

As matches play out and fans get a clearer picture of which nations are contenders and which are pretenders, the value of certain country cards could rise and fall as collectors position themselves for a shot at the Pup Cup prize pool.

“The cards are collectibles, but they also become live tournament positions, SimpleFarmer wrote. “50% of all mint proceeds go into a pot for holders of the country that wins the World Cup. If you believe a country can win, the play is simple. Get exposure to that country.”

The Gazette will continue to follow all things PupCup and will let you know when someone completes a full country set of canines. Stay tuned for updates!
