KING ME: FreeLunchCapital Aped Into A Royal Trippy Fur Primate Last Night For 153 Eth or $258K USD

A self-proclaimed ‘J-Peg Hoarder and Down Bad Trader’ became the trippy king last night after he added to another top tier trippy fur primate to his growing collection.

Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Flooring Lab Founder FreeLunchCaptial AKA PimpCaptial purchased Bored Ape #8585 from BAYC member 26s for 153 Eth or $258,500 USD.

Bored Ape #8585 is a five-trait trippy fur primate with a King’s crown and heart eye glasses. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #8585 is the 423rd most bored Bored Ape, according to Rarity Tools.

Following FreeLunchCaptial’s purchase, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to him for an interview and to find out more about Flooring Lab, but he did not immediately respond.

While we do not know what FreeLunchCaptial is building at Flooring Lab or why he chose to purchase Bored Ape #8585 last night, we do know that he’s bullish on Bored Apes based his purchases over the past eight months.

Since the beginning of 2023, FreeLunchCaptial has been making waves around the swamp as he splashed a ton of Eth on some of the rarest Bored Apes in the collection.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, FreeLunchCapital started off the year by buying a gold fur service ape on February 7th for 800 ETH or $1,304,000 USD. He then purchased another gold fur primate on May 15th for 530 ETH or $968,000 USD, followed by a trippy fur ape on July 20th for 165 ETH or $311,000 USD.
