ApeCoin’s second Spotlight season is in full swing, and many collectors have already put up huge scores on the seasonal leaderboard. But fear not, there’s still plenty of time for anyone and everyone to ape in, compete for a top 100 score, and maybe even win a Bored Ape, according to ApeChain’s Lost.
Saturday marked Day Six of ApeCoin’s Spotlight rewards program, dubbed “Simply Built Different,” which shines a light on ApeChain builder 0xSimpleFarmer and his two dApps, Apes Predict and Clutch Markets.
In just the first few days, many ApeChain enthusiasts have already racked up six and seven figure point totals for completing quests ranging from simple X profile edits to making parlays and placing bets on events happening in the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem and beyond.
While those high scores might seem insurmountable, let not your $Ape be troubled.
ApeChain’s Lost took to the timeline this weekend and encouraged both community members and outsiders to get involved in Spotlight, reminding everyone there’s still time to climb the ranks and maybe even win a Bored Ape just for cracking the top 100. He even laid out a strategy for how to make it to the top.
“Think you’re too late to join Spotlight for a shot at winning a BAYC? Think again,” he tweeted. “Top 100 only takes ~30k points. - Holding $1K of a top ApeChain memecoin gets you a 30x multiplier. - There are 20+ f2p quests worth 50 points each. Done in 10 minutes. That’s >37K points.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the top ten individual Spotlight finishers will each receive an insane prize ranging from a “A suitcase full of $APE and a weekend you won’t forget in Las Vegas” for first place to “an ApeChain Mystery Box (includes physical & digital goods, exclusive items sourced from our partners, and more)” for 10th.
On top of that, anyone who ranks in the top 100 individual Spotlight finishers will be entered into an onchain raffle with a Bored Ape, five Gobs, five Geez, five Mintotaurs, three TokenGators, and seven Clutch Puppies all up for grabs!
With all that said, you’re still very much in the Spotlight game this season. So ape in!
