Connecting with frens just got a whole lot easier after Made By Apes’ social media platform, Other Page, announced some new features that are anything but boring.
On Wednesday, Other Page rolled out its “Communities on Other Page” feature, allowing users to browse and join communities around the Swamp and $Ape ecosystem, connect with frens, and interact with groups they’re a part of!
“Explore Communities After signing in to Other Page, there will be a COMMUNITIES tab in the navigation bar to explore communities you can join,” Other Page tweeted. “Communities will have a Community Page where you can see the community logo, description, socials, team, badges issued, and members who joined. Viewing Joined Communities from Profiles When you're on an Avatar profile, you can view their Primary Community and see the communities they've joined. It's a great way to explore new communities to connect with!”
“This is perhaps the holy grail Of community integration and profiling,” BAYC member Rahim Mahtab tweeted. “We had specific discords (which themselves aren’t a thing as much) but u were pretty much gated out of profiles of others and twitter has no means to give u this info This is a massive missing piece of the puzzle to bring all of web3 nft projects together Loveeeeee it !!!!!”
Today’s announcement is just the latest feature Other Page has rolled out in recent months.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Other Page has also welcomed the Mocaverse to its platform, added 3D animated Apes, introduced a badge program with ThankApe, and had its AIP to turn Other Page into an ApeChain rewards hub approved by the ApeCoin DAO—all within the last six months!
Today, Apes, Mutants, Kodas, Kodamaras, Mechs, Mocas, Meebits, Punks, BAKC Dogs, Grailed, Sentinels, Mutant Hounds, World of Women, Rengas, Wizards, and Toads are all invited to set up an Other Page profile and share their NFTs’ backstory, ape into communities, and flex their affiliations here: https://app.other.page
