LOADING UP: HV-MTL’s First Otherside Mini-Game Is Coming Soon!

HV-MTLs are powering up for their first major Otherside activation, and while everyone will get a chance to play at first, only holders will eventually be able to compete for prizes and rewards!

On Friday, the HV-MTL crew hosted their second Assembly meeting on the Otherside, where the team gave attendees an update on their highly anticipated mini-game experience that will feature playable bots from all seven EV02 types.

“We do have seven base avatars that have been submitted to Yuga directly for use in the upcoming mini-game activation that we are going to be doing,” HV-MTL’s Aventurine said. “Each of these seven avatars will correspond to each of the different HV-MTL EVO Types. “Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will be able to release the first activation.”

Tonight, we still do not know much about the game or what HV-MTLs will actually do in it. But we do know that the team plans to begin testing the experience this week and that the game will launch with a just for fun first phase open to everyone. That phase will then be followed by a holders only second phase where HV-MTLs will compete for prizes and rewards!

Aventurine then reminded community members to upgrade their Bots from their original activated EV01 forms into their new EV02 forms sooner rather than later.

“EV02 characters are the main characters of the Otherside,” he said. “ I know a lot of people are still holding onto their activated HV-MTLs but everything we are going to be doing in the Otherside will be around those EV02s. So make sure in the next couple of weeks you get those activated…We are excited to get this first action out to you all.”

As the Gazette previously reported, HV-MTL holders can expect to see 3D models for all their Bots, lore expansions, and more metaverse experiences going forward as the project’s owner, Adam Weitsman, works to make these mechs a top tier collection on the Otherside.

“I’m interested in us being one of the main targets to be on Otherside. I want us to go all in on Otherside,” Weitsman said. “As they build this to be incredible, we want to play an important role there. I’m not looking to be a project on the sidelines here.”
