LUCK BE A PENGU: Pudgy Penguins Huddler And "Pengu Maxi" Bokah Pulls His First Ever Sketch Card During The Brand's First Ever Whatnot Livestream, And It Just So Happens To Be Pengu!

Luck was a Pengu for longtime Huddler and self proclaimed "Pengu Maxi" Bokah after he pulled his first ever Vibes sketch card during Pudgy Penguins' first ever Whatnot livestream, and it just so happened to be of Pax Pengu!

On Saturday, Pudgy Penguins waddled onto the popular live shopping platform Whatnot to rip packs from Vibes TCG's latest set, Birbs & Pengu, alongside the Huddle and the broader collecting community.

 

Among those who stopped by to buy a pack during the inaugural livestream was Bokah, who's been collecting Vibes TCG since Series One.

“I started collectibles the Vibes in the beginning and I’ve never pulled a sketch," he said. "But I’ve always wanted to pull one.”

 

Little did he know, his luck was about to change with the Huddle watching live. After purchasing a single $13 pack, Bokah wached as he had the pull of a lifetime: a 3 of 10 hand drawn Pax Pengu sketch card.

 

“I’m feeling crazy,” Bokah told the Gazette right after his hit. “I’m feeling like this is one of the best things to ever happen to me… this being the first ever WhatNot live for Pudgy Penguins and for me to hit the first sketch on that first live is so wild for me.”

 

While the pull may have come down to luck, many in the Huddle felt it couldn't have happened to a more deserving collector.

For years, Bokah has been one of Pudgy Penguins' most recognizable community members, filling the timeline with AI generated artwork almost every day. Earlier this month, he was even recognized as one of the community's Most Valuable Penguins.

 

And on top of all that, he’s just a big Fan of Pax Pengu!

“I am a Pengu maxi I love Pengu since the beginning when I found this community, he said. “I’m just going crazy and I want to cry of happiness!”

ooking ahead, Bokah says he has no plans to part with his new grail, except to get it graded!

 

“Again I am a Pengu maxi. I love Pengu and I cannot believe the sketch is of Pengu,” he said. “So I really want to hold it forever and grade it for the fun of it. “
