$ME TIME: Magic Eden Introduced The Web3 World To Its $ME Token That Will Power The Marketplaces's Cross-Chain Ecosystem!

One of the biggest airdrop of 2024 is on the horizon as Magic Eden updates the Web3 world on its cross-chain ecosystem and the newly announced $ME token.

In a major shift, NonFungible DAO is out, and the Magic Eden Foundation (MEFndn) is in!

On Thursday, the future of NFTs looked brighter than a diamond as the Web3 community got its first glimpse of the $ME reward token, set to power Magic Eden’s massive cross-chain ecosystem.

“Announcing $ME, powering the #1 cross chain dApps ecosystem People should be able to trade fungibles & NFTs on any major chain any time, all in 1 place,” the company tweeted from its former NonFungible DAO X account that was recently changed to MEFndn. “First, $ME will be adopted by @MagicEden, the largest BTC dApp, NFT platform, and Runes DEX. The $ME claim will be in @MagicEdenWallet, available on iOS and Android. After claim, $ME incentives will live in the wallet. Users are xchain & mobile. Most dApps are not. dApps onboard users. Infra alone does not. The future of on-chain will be limitless and seamless for everyone.”

 

“Y ep, $ME token claim will be coming to the @MagicEdenWallet,” Magic Eden tweeted after the Magic Eden Foudnation’s post. “This is the best news since [insert joke here].”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the idea of a reward program for Magic Eden’s cross-chain ecosystem was first announced on January 22, 2024, and was originally called NonFungible DAO.

At that time, Magic Eden rolled out its Diamond rewards program, encouraging Ethereum NFT traders to claim their retroactive Diamond reward points for trades dating back to the early days of NFTs.

 These diamonds are the reward points in Magic Eden’s massive cross chain reward program covering the Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Base, and Ethereum ecosystems.
