ApeCoin DAO contributor and Special Council nominee, Zack, is running for $Ape office to make the DAO multilingual, simple, and explore ways for the DAO to earn revenue and give $Apes a reason to visit the site everyday!
The election season of 2023 is underway at the ApeCoin DAO, with 21 contributors officially running to replace Yat Siu or Alexis Ohanian on the DAO's Special Council this summer.
Among the candidates vying for a position on the ApeCoin DAO's Special Council is ApeCoin DAO contributor Zack.
"Dear ApeCoin DAO Community, Today, I stand humbly before you, sharing the same love for ApeCoin and the web3 culture that it represents,” Zack wrote on his candidate page. “I am applying for the ApeCoin Special Council to channel this passion into action. APE isn’t just a token; it’s our tool to shape the cultural landscape of the metaverse. Our shared initiatives, powered by APE, drive this cultural evolution forward. My background in crypto, Business, start ups and this DAO gives me an understanding of the balance needed for sustainability. As a member of the Special Council, I will focus on creating steady revenue streams to ensure our DAO’s long-term vitality. I also value the legacy we’re building. Collaborating with the legal team, I aim to maximize our influence far into the future, ensuring a lasting impact. In the council, I will be your voice. 1.How did you get into the ApeCoin DAO?
“I was a bored ape before the token drop, It was just normal for an Ape to be part of Apecoin DAO from the first week.”
2.In a sentence or two, why should the community vote for you?
“You need someone that is both visionary that can predict what the people want and need before they ask for it. You need someone who is brave to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo while still has good judgment. You need Zack74 beside the current trusted SC @nftgerry @veratheape @boredapeg.”
3.What would you like to accomplish if elected?
“I am going to push these things - Multilingual and inclusivity. - Simple and welcoming user experience. - Explore how to allow us to receive revenue back to the DAO and encourage it. - Give the people a reason to visit the site and book mark it and encourage the content creator to talk about the apps, games and initiatives we approve and powered by

The window to vote in the ApeCoin DAO's first round of Special Council voting opens on June 15th, and $Ape holders will have until June 21st to cast their votes and support their preferred nominees. After the first round of voting, the top five nominees with the most votes will proceed to the second round of voting and officially become candidates. The DAO will then conduct one more election from June 22nd to 28th, during which the community will elect two Special Council members to replace Yat Siu and Alexis Ohanian on the board.
