MOGGING THE METAVERSE: Koda #1 Wins BAYC Member Phin Erin's Most Aesthetic Koda Competition!

The Otherside is home to 9,900 non-Mega Kodas, but only one can claim the title of the most aesthetic. And thanks to Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Koda connoisseur Phin Erin, we now know that honor belongs to Homeless NFT's Koda #1!

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but last month it was in the eyes of the voters after Phin put together a month long March Madness style tournament to determine, once and for all, which Koda mogs the metaverse.

 

“The tournament to find the Most Aesthetic (Non-Mega) Koda has been so fun to watch unfold,” Phin said. “Starting with 16 Kodas, there have been many match ups that have left me absolutely shocked with the outcome!”

 

In the end, the competition came down to two worthy finalists: Koda #1 and Koda #7811.

 

Koda #1, owned by Homeless NFT, is a crystal-looking Koda with a caged Geminite Core, a Crystalline Helm head, a Koda Pendant, and a Shards of Iridia sword.

Koda #7811, owned by wallet 0xbd1fd9ef, is a lava looking Koda with a Floating Lava Core, a Levitating Lava Head, and steely eyes.

 

The competition was fierce, and judging by the looks of these two, they both definitely deserved a spot in the finals.

 

After 24 hours and 99 votes, however, the community crowned Koda #1 the winner with 72.7% of the vote.

 

 

"It feels great to finally crown a winner and bestow a Koda with the title Most Aesthetic Non-Mega Koda,” Phin said after the vote. “When the bracket was first made, this Koda immediately stood out amongst the other aesthetics. It’s no surprise, to see him win! There were even a couple people who predicted that Koda would secure the win from the very beginning. He’s an aesthetic grail, through and through; even in the serial number- #1!”
