Moonpay, who has onboarded several high-profile celebrities into crypto, purchased Bored Ape #7092 earlier today.
Bored Ape #7092 is a six-trait golden brown fur ape with girl’s short hair and a striped t shirt. Moonpay purchased Bored Ape #7092 for 105 Eth or $332,000 USD.
Following Moonpay’s purchase, BAYC members began to wonder who the crypto payment company would be onboarding next. “@Rihanna the pregnant ape,” BAYC member Lucrafund tweeted.
Following today’s purchase, Moonpay now holds nine Bored Apes, one Mutant Ape and a pair of M1& M2 mutant serums, according to the company's Opensea profile.
The most recent celebrity that Moonpay brought into the BAYC was Gwyneth Paltrow. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Moonpay onboarded Paltrow on January 27th.
