"NEW META" Yuga Labs CEO Garga Purchases His First ApeChain NFT, A Chimpdenza By Gremplin

Yuga Labs CEO Garga got in on the new meta of ApeChain NFTs, purchasing a Chimpdenza NFT titled “New Meta” for 3,000 $APE “because he wanted it.”

On Wednesday, Garga finally aped into  the Apechain NFT scene and purchased his first-ever NFT on $Ape, a Chimpdenza piece by Gremplin.

 

“"new meta" by @gremplin on ApeChain (mine now),” Garga tweeted, along with a photo of his new NFT that resembles a gummy bear mixed with a frog.

The Chimpdenza collection consists of 64 one-of-a-kind NFTs by artist Gremplin, who many know from his TOADZ NFT collection on Ethereum.

“who can forget Chimpdenza, the ghost of a simpleminded ape released into the wilds of a machine,” Gremplin tweeted earlier this week. “Legend says she's still out there in the wires, whispering artworks into being to this very day. that tiny little brain making so many curious connections about the world, but perhaps it's all best left to ~*☆｡imagination｡☆*~.”

After Garga’s pickup, Gremplin tweeted that he was happy that Garga and his fellow Co-Founder, Gordon Goner, were each able to get a Chimpdenza.

 

“So glad these two could pick up some chimpdenzas <3,” he tweeted, along with a to-scale portrait of the two Yuga Labs Co-Founders.

 

 

After his first ApeChain NFT purchase, Garga aped into an Eyes of Sirris NFT titled “Diarc Circuitbreaker,” created by Yuga Labs’ Justin Mezzell and Colin Hesterly.

“Was in a meeting during the mint, but scooped one that spoke to me on Magic Eden,” Garga wrote.
