NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS: Post Punk Productions Announces Free Physical Copies For Punks Comic 2 Holders!

Trick or treat!

Halloween was full of surprises this year as holders of Punks Comic 2: “X Marks The Drop” were invited to claim a physical copy  for free!

On Friday, the timeline transformed into a neighborhood of sorts, with NFT holders going door to door, and profile to profile, checking out everyone’s festive Halloween posts. While every project had great art, the recently established Post Punk Productions by Chris Wahl and Josh Blaylock had the Web3 version of a full size candy bar on their timeline;  announcing a free physical claim for Punks Comic 2 holders!

 

 

Today’s comic claim comes nearly two months after Wahl and Blaylock announced that they had acquired Punks Comic, Metahero, and the ApeChain game Battle Plan from the now defunct Pixel Vault.

 

"Josh and I have been waiting years for this to happen," Chris Wahl told the Gazette. "So it's a big relief to finally have the opportunity to deliver on some old, unfulfilled promises."

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Punks Comic 2 features eight Bored Apes, who the community selected way back in July 2021 in a March Madness style tournament.

 

In the end, the community selected BBA, Biz, Gold-Rilla, Hanzo, Kiki, King Black Bored, Lone-Star, and Tropo for the comic. Each of them got their own variant cover and are all part of the comic’s story!

 

Punks Comic 2’s physical claim is officially open, but don’t feel rushed to ape in. There’s no deadline right now, according to the team.

"At the moment the claim isn't time restricted," Wahl said. "That might change in the future but we'll give people ample warning before we close the claim window."
