On Thursday, Yuga Labs expanded its over the counter trading desk, GrailsOTC, by introducing White Glove, a new concierge style service for collectors who want to join the club without having to navigate crypto wallets or the blockchain!

 

“Introducing GrailsOTC White Glove,” the company tweeted. “You shouldn't need to be cryptonative to own a Bored Ape. If you or someone you know wants a BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, Koda or Otherdeed yet does not want to handle the intricacies of crypto wallets, we handle all of it for you. You tell us the vibe (or the token ID). We do the rest. No crypto needed. Fiat accepted. DM us to get started.”

 

With the launch of White Glove, Yuga Labs is making it easier for collectors outside the Web3 bubble to purchase NFTs from across the Yugaverse in Fiat, tearing down the biggest barrier to entry around the swmap!

“Starting today  @GrailsOTC will facilitate fiat purchases to help collectors more easily onboard,” he tweeted. “No crypto experience necessary. The desk is about gaining distribution.”

As the Gazette previously reported, GrailsOTC was one of the first initiatives Figge launched after stepping in as Yuga Labs CEO back in April.

 

 

When GrailsOTC launched, its mission was simple: help place high end primates into the hands of long term collectors.

Since then, the desk has expanded beyond brokering sales, making above floor WEth offers on some sought after Apes and now introducing its White Glove service to help non-crypto native collectors join the best club on the internet!

 

Following today's announcement, longtime BAYC member and former ApeCoin DAO Special Council member Captain Trippy said he believes the White Glove service could start paying dividends soon!

“There is pent up demand for  @BoredApeYC that are not being met due to the friction of buying,” he tweeted. “On a business call now with people wanting to go to Apefest. No idea on how to buy an NFT and tbh, I don't want to take them down that path. A white glove service is much needed.”
