Oh There's No Place Like The BAYC For The Holidays! This Former Member Aped Back In On Christmas Eve!

Oh there’s no place like home for the holidays! A familiar face returned to the Bored Ape Yacht Club after purchasing a very boring four trait primate on Christmas eve!

 

On Sunday, BAYC member John Schenk returned to the Bored Ape Yacht Club, purchasing Bored Ape #1281 for 34.69 Eth or $79,132 USD.

 

 

Bored Ape #1281 is a four-trait brown fur primate with a bored mouth, sleepy eyes, and a gray background. Baased on these traits, Bored Ape #1281 is the 920th most bored Bored Ape, according to RaritySniper.

 

“I'm back... Just picked up this 4T super clean ape,” Schenk tweeted. “Merry Christmas!”

 

 

Following his purchase, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Schenk to welcome him back to the swamp and to find out why he aped back in.

 

“I've been interested in getting back in for a few weeks now," he told the paper. "Prices are too low IMO, and the bull market has begun. Plus I think Yuga is going to shift some love back to the OG project. (Just a guess.) Hadn't pulled the trigger until I saw this ape, which I truly believe was severely underpriced. Failing to buy it would've been a big regret,I think. :-)”
