ON THE BALLOT: AIP-102 Aims To Maker The Proposal Process More Transparent& Easier To Visualize

This Ape Improvement Proposal aims to make the DAO’s AIP process more transparent and easier to visualize.

AIP-102 titled “Add Proposal Overview” is a process proposal written by Working Group Zero Steward RedVulkan.

In AIP-102, Vulkan asked the DAO to add the same chart that the DAO is currently using for its weekly AIP updates on Twitter to the DAO’s Discourse home page.

Further, Vulkan asked the DAO to make the chart interactive, so $Ape holders can click and view where each AIP is in the proposal process.

“Include a way to click on each of the numbers in the screenshot above and have it display a pop-up containing links to all the proposals in the category clicked on, Vulkan wrote. “(Ex. If I click on the “5” in the “Moderator Review” column, I want to see which five proposals are in that status).”

Vulkan went on to reiterate that this AIP will not lead to any major changes at the DAO and that the goal of AIP-102 is to make the proposal process more transparent.

“This is strictly an informational proposal that will help the community better understand where each proposal stands in the AIP process,” Vulkan said. “Adding this to the home page will also give it more visibility and make it easier to find. These things will make our DAO more efficient and offer more transparency into the AIP process.”

Vulkan goes on to say that AIP-102 will not cost the ApeCoin DAO anything.

The window to vote on AIP-102 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST. $Ape holders will have until Wednesday February 1st to cast their ballots.
