FADED FRENZY: Otherside Wiki Founder Frostyz's FADE Collection Mints Out Fast As Community Apes In!

ApeChain is getting faded this evening after Otherside Wiki Founder and longtime Koda, Frostyz, stealth launched his first generative art collection on ApeChain for one $Ape each, and saw it mint out in under an hour!

The timeline was in a frenzy on Thursday after Frostyz dropped “FADE,” a 512-piece collection that’s fully on-chain, generative, and built around a “thematic approach to ApeChain tokens.”

 

The mint was limited to one FADE per wallet, and users had to claim a spot by holding one of 23 eligible NFT collections.

Frostyz’s collection sold out in about an hour, as familiar faces across the ApeChain ecosystem moved assets around to not fade FADE.

In total, the collection features 43 different attributes across six trait categories: Evolution, Network, Population, Species, Structure, and Territory.

While details on what these traits mean are still emerging, we do know that the Network traits are all named after ApeChain tokens: Bank, Socks, Curtis, Cult, Wong, Void, and Omega.

After the mint, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Frostyz for comment but did not immediately hear back.

At the time of this article’s publication, Frostyz’s FADE has a floor price of 139 $Ape, which is a staggering 139x return in under an hour!
