ON THE BALLOT: The Coffee With Captain Morning Show Wants $Ape As Its Title Sponsor For Six Months!

An early morning show staple of the Web3 ecosystem, “Coffee With Captain,” has an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle that would make $Ape the show’s title sponsor along with bringing other perks and $Ape content to the coin!

AIP-479, titled “Coffee with Captain Powered by $APE on ApeChain,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO contributor and Twitter Space morning show host, CaptainZwingli.

Every single weekday since late 2021, Bored Ape Yacht Club members Captain and Steve have hosted their “Coffee with Captain” morning show, becoming pillars of the community and making every weekday morning a gm.

Following three years of success and the pair's deep ties to the BAYC, the two believe their show would benefit the $Ape ecosystem significantly if the DAO became its title sponsor for six months!

With this sponsorship, $Ape would be displayed in the show’s title, and the hosts would add $Ape-themed content to the program, including feature opportunities for Made By ApeCoin builders and make two $Ape themed audiograms a week, among other things.

“In total over a 6 month sponsorship, there will 52 professional audiograms provided featuring $ape and community build brand and businesses,” Captain wrote. “26 business or brands built by ApeCoin will receive a sponsored interview at no cost to them, as well as 26 ApeCoin DAO Ecosystem updates presented to a diverse crypto and web3 audience. And ApeChain will hopefully become the first ecosystem that the Coffee with Captain community and listener base thinks about when looking for a home to build.”

 

To make this title sponsorship a reality, Captain is asking the ApeCoin DAO for $85,000 USD worth of $Ape for the sponsor spot.

“This proposal will benefit ApeChain and Made by ApeCoin builders, as well as the Coffee with Captain community, listeners and the small CwC team, including two OG Apes, at a minimum,” Captain wrote. “Hopefully this idea inspires other content creators to work closely with the ApeCoin DAO and make ApeChain their home also.”

 

The window to vote on AIP-479 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, July 31st to cast their coins and vote on this AIP.
