ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Build Up The ApeCoin DAO Through Free Ape Lego Build Instructions
There is an Ape Improvement proposal on the ballot this week that aims to build up the Apecoin DAO’s social media presence via free to claim Lego Bored Ape build instructions!
AIP-145 titled “Forever Apes // Upgrade #2 // First Trip, LEGO Edition,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Forever Apes Founder 12Gauge.
“This proposal presents the idea that we should expand our community with a social campaign that allows all those who participate to be eligible for a free-to-claim LEGO BrickHeadz instructions produced by the Forever Apes team,” 12Gauge wrote in his proposal. “Via our retweet claim portal, anyone who retweets our curated @ApeCoin tweet is eligible to claim digital instructions and part list for a custom designed BrickHeadz. LEGO bricks will be available for purchase online. Completion of these unique ApeCoin instructions will unlock a series of future drops and the community will be rewarded for their participation… WTF IS A KODA?”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, 12Gauge and Forever Apes have previously created Lego build instructions for Meebits after they received funding from the ApeCoin DAO’s PropHouse competition.
To make AIP-145 a reality, 12Gauge is asking the DAO for social support and for the DAO to let him and Forever Apes use the its logos.
“Goal is to create a social buzz surrounding ApeCoin. Similar to what we did with meebits, generated 100+ retweets and 40k impressions from a very small account,"12Gauge told the Gazette.“Just want to do that again but amplify it for ApeCoin DAO.”
AIP-145 will not cost the DAO anything monetarily, according to the proposal.
The window to vote on AIP-145 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and $Ape holders will have until next Wednesday to cast their coins.
