ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Make A Bi-Monthly ApeCoin/ Yuga Labs Centric Magazine

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! This Ape Improvement proposal aims to take the biggest news from the Yugaverse and bring it to the physical world via a bi-monthly magazine!

AIP-169 titled “Beyond the SWAMP: Bimonthly ApeCoin & Yuga Labs Focused Magazine + NFT,” in an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member AllCityBAYC.

“Beyond the SWAMP aims to produce a vibrant, high-quality collectible bimonthly magazine claimed through the sale of accompanying NFTs displaying each issue’s cover art—similar to Punks comic but with varying rarity and added rewards,” AllCityBAYC wrote.

Beyond the SWAMP magazine’s coverage will focus on the ApeCoin DAO, the expanding Yugaverse, and the various members and groups doing interesting things with their Yuga Labs IP.

The stories that will be included in the Beyond the Swamp magazine will be evergreen stories. This means that the articles will be longer form and that the articles will meant to be enjoyed over a long period of time, according to AllCityBAYC.

Along with evergreen articles, Beyond the SWAMP will also feature new and unique artwork from artists in the Web3 Space.

In total, AllCityBAYC is asking the ApeCoin DAO for a one time grant of $52,500 USD to start the business and print the first issue of Beyond the SWAMP.

Take a look at the project's budget below:

If passed, AllCityBAYC believes that the first issue of Beyond the SWAMP will be released 10-12 weeks after he receives the funding from the DAO.

Check out the timeline here:

The window to vote on AIP-169 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and DAO Contributors will have until Wednesday February 1st to cast their ballots.
