ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Make The DAO's Administrative Review Process More Transparent
There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that aims to make the administrative review process more transparent by letting users know a proposal is under review.
AIP-173 titled “Add New Discourse Category For “Administrative Review” is a process proposal that was written by the Cartan Group’s Brian Tang.
“The motivation of this AIP is to provide further clarity on Discourse about the AIPs and the step in which it is in, Tang wrote. “If an AIP is tagged with Needs Administrative Review, the AIP currently sits in AIP Drafts until it is returned for reconstruction, clarification, or approved to vote. Adding this new Discourse category will specifically identify those AIPs currently being reviewed by the Special Council.”
If passed, the ApeCoin DAO’s Discourse page would include a new “Administrative Review” category.
AIP-173 will not cost the DAO anything and the new “Administrative Review” category would be added to the Discourse site immediately, according to Tang.
The window to vote on AIP-173 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST. $Ape holders will have until January 11th at 9 P.M. EST to cast their ballots.
