ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Make A Newsletter That Focuses On All things $Ape
Extra Extra read all about this, there is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that aims to create a new and insightful newsletter on all things $Ape.
AIP-285 titled “Ape Insights - More Than Just Another Newsletter Proposal,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Zack74eth.
“This proposal outlines the creation of a comprehensive and user-friendly newsletter for the ApeCoin DAO community,” Zack74eth wrote. “The newsletter aims to offer concise summaries of new proposals, initiating informed discussions and enabling every member to contribute actively to the platform’s evolution. This isn’t just about sharing information - it’s about inspiring understanding and fostering a more unified and democratically engaged DAO community.”
In AIP-285, Zack74eth wrote that he and his team will create a weekly newsletter for one year. This newsletter will cover the AIPs in the DAO’s Discourse draft section, with a focus on the authors' goals and the proposals' impact on the $Ape community.
“Our mission is to deliver neutral, unbiased, and accessible information, not to serve as a marketing tool for specific proposals,” Zack74eth wrote. “We aim to accurately represent the ideas of AIP authors, who can request edits to our summaries to ensure a fair portrayal of their initiatives.”
In total, Zack74eth is asking the DAO to allocate 55,800 $Ape or 79.236 USD to the creation of this newsletter.
The window to vote on AIP-285 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and ApeCoin DAO Contributors will have until August 30th at 9 P.M. EST to cast their coins.
