ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Make The ApeCoin Community Laugh With Monthly Comedy Shows!
Ladies and Gentle-$Apes, put your hands together for the comedic stylings of Laughing Ape INC, whose Ape Improvement Proposal aims to have ApeCoin DAO Contributors laughing out loud at in-person events and online around the world!
AIP-346 titled “Monthly Laughing Ape Stand-Up Comedy Show Utility for all $APE Holders,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor and Laughing Ape Founder, Aaron Haber.
“Laughing Ape, INC will bring needed laughter and fun to the DAO,” Haber wrote. “It’s also an opportunity for $APE holders from around the world to gather for a series of exclusive events fostering camaraderie between DAO members. But look, in between shows y’all can go back to yelling at each other over governance, ok?”
To bring these shows to life, Haber, who has had a long career in comedy, announced that he will collaborate with the ApeCoin DAO-funded project Nifty Kit to organize monthly comedy shows. Everyone with at least one $Ape will be invited to attend!
“One APE equals one APE,” he wrote. “You’ve got 1 $APE, you get into the show. You’ve got 0 ape? GTFO and go buy one.”
To get the Apes laughing, Haber is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate $180,000 USD worth of $Ape to his proposal. This money will be used to rent venues, hire comedians, and cover production and marketing costs.
The window to vote on AIP-346 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO contributors have until next Wednesday, November 22nd, to cast their coins and vote on this AIP.
