ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Share The ApeCoin DAO's Brand Guidelines With The Community

There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that aims to share the ApeCoin DAO’s brand guidelines with the community and make it easier for projects and members to align with $Ape and use the DAO’s marks properly.

AIP-291 titled “Approve and Publish ApeCoin DAO Brand Guidelines v1.1 on ApeCoin.com,” is a brand decision proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor MisterHype.

“Having consistent and well-defined brand guidelines ensures that all community members present a cohesive image and message to the public,” MisterHype explained. “By publishing these guidelines and committing to them, we align with the DAO’s mission of transparency, professionalism, and inclusivity.”

Once this Apecoin guideline is distributed amongst the DAO, MisterHype wrote that the community will receive clarity on how to apply to use the ApeCoin logo and how to align with $Ape.

If passed, AIP-291 will lead to the publishing of the DAO’s logo guidelines and the creation of a new ApeCoin trademarks email that will work with the community to answer any questions that may arise.

AIP-291 will not cost the DAO anything and MisterHype believes that the guideline can be published and the email can be made by then end of quarter 3, 2023.

The window to vote on AIP-291 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, September 6th, to cast their coins.
