ONE SMALL STEP FOR GEEZ, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR APECHAIN NFTs!: Geez Are Officially On The Otherside!

One small step for Geez, one giant leap for ApeChain NFTs! Apes aren’t the only primates on the Otherside anymore after GeezOnApe officially made their way to the metaverse this morning!

There was a lot to Geez about on Tuesday after Bored Ape Yacht Club members and GeezOnApe founders Rida, Xeer, and Allo announced that their collection was now playable characters on the Otherside.

With this news, GeezOnApe became the first ever ApeChain NFT project to make its collection fully rigged and ready for the Otherside. This means every Gee can now float high in Bubble Spaces, shrink down in Bathroom Blitz, and stomp through the swamp!

For the GeezOnApe team, getting the 5,555 gorillas to the Otherside has been a long time coming, and they’re thrilled to see how far their project has come since November 2024, when it minted for just 33 $APE each.

“When we first conceptualize the Geez, we imagined them coming to life on @OthersideMeta. It was just a fun idea we discussed while at ApeFest in Lisbon,” Xeer tweeted. “Never in a million years did we think we’d become the first non-Yuga community to appear on there as fully playable characters. What you’re seeing today is the result of countless hours of work behind the scenes. Rida, Allo, and the entire Inceptive team poured their hearts into making this happen. They are, without exaggeration, absolutely goated and deserve every ounce of praise. It might seem minor to some, but for us, this has been a long time coming. To finally see the Geez coming to life… it’s hard to put into words how fulfilling that feels on so many levels. Since this morning’s Otherside launch, GeezOnApe has been all over the metaverse and the timeline, with holders posting videos and screenshots of their 3D modeled gorillas dancing and Geezing.
