ONE SWORD TO RULE THEM ALL: BAYC Member Merlin Awarded 1/1 Blade For His Victory In The Mintotaurs Coliseum!

It was a one sword to rule them all Saturday in the ApeChain ecosystem after Grand Games of the Coliseum’s King of the Hill winner, Merlin, was awarded a one of one NFT that comes with special powers, and may just play a role in a larger story that’s only beginning to unfold.

To the victor go the spoils around the swamp. Nearly two weeks after dehorning his frens and foes in battle and claiming the King of the Hill title, Ape News’ Dutchee announced that Merlin the Warrior had been awarded the Wooden Blade of the Hornbreaker, a legendary new weapon crafted by artist ROLU and minted by the ApeChain team.

 

 

“Forged from the heart of the Swamp and claimed by the mightiest, this 1/1 Wooden Sword marks the player who ruled the coliseum during ass first 48 hours,”  ApeChain wrote. “Awarded to the too warrior who ripped the most horns and stacked the most wins. this relic is more than a trophy. Only one can wield.”

 

 

Like ApeChain said, this sword is more than just a prize. It will also grant its wielder a multiplier in ApeCoin’s highly anticipated second season of Spotlight, according to Dutchee.

Further, it’s now part of a growing new collection called The Vault on ApeChain, which will act as a museum of sorts showcasing key artifacts from $Ape history.
