From Pudgy Penguins on your phone to Pudgy Penguins on your phone case! On Tuesday, cell phone accessories company SOLYD announced an exciting new licensing opportunity for Pudgy Penguin holders, giving them the chance to have their Pudgies featured on a new line of phone cases.

“Pudgy Penguin iPhone cases are coming,” SOLYD tweeted. “Holders can now submit their @pudgypenguins via @OverpassIP for a chance to be featured on our first edition. Not so long ago, this was impossible to imagine. @OverpassIP enables physical consumer products featuring community-owned penguins selected through onchain licensing. We saw games and toys prove the point, and now it's time to enter the biggest accessory market in the world.”

 

Tonight, SOLYD is looking for six Pudgy Penguins to take part in its first series of phone cases, with each design set to feature several fat, flightless frens!

 

“Each design brings several Pudgy Penguins together into one scene, a proper huddle rather than a single penguin on its own,” the team wrote. “We're planning a series of two to three case designs, each featuring multiple penguins. “

 

Holders whose Penguins are selected will each receive a $200 USD payment for licensing their Pudgy, according to the team.

 

The window to sign up for this licensing opportunity is open now, and everyone has until September 8 to raise their flippers and waddle into the candidate pool!
