From crypto jokes about working the fryer every time a token’s price goes down to Wendy’s pioneering corporate shitposting on X, NFTs and fast food go together like fries dipped in a Frosty!

On Thursday, Pudgy Penguins everywhere flooded the timeline with AI edits, memes, and more after the notable NFT brand got into a viral back and forth with the popular fast food chain thanks to Pudgy Penguin holder Kaylen, who simply replied “when’s the collab?” under a random Jeopardy post.

“What is Pudgy Penguins,” Wendy’s replied.

 

Since then, the tweets have garnered 200,000 views and inspired Pudgys everywhere to reach into their “Biggie Bags” and answer Wendy’s question with a flood of penguins!

 

"You make a tweet thinking it’ll get a few laughs from the community, then suddenly one of the biggest brand accounts on the internet is replying to you and the whole timeline is running with it, "Kaylen told the Gazette. "Safe to say I didn’t expect penguins and frostys to take over my notifications for 24 hours."

Tonight, we do not know if anything is officially cooking between these two iconic brands, but if something does get ordered up, it would not be the first time NFTs landed on a fast food menu.

As the Gazette previously reported, Doodles partnered with McDonald’s during the winter of 2024 on a line of McCafé cups featuring the brand’s iconic colorful characters.
