Things were anything but boring on Friday after ApeCoin took to the timeline and announced that the second season of Spotlight begins Monday, July 14th, and will focus on ApeChain builder 0xSimpleFarmer and his two major projects: Clutch Markets and Apes Predict.

At this time, we don’t know many specifics about Spotlight Season 2 other than that the ApeCoin intern will be sharing more details this weekend, and that the ApeChain Spotlight website is currently undergoing maintenance until tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST.

 

As we wait to learn more about Spotlight Season 2, let’s take a look back at all that 0xSimpleFarmer has built in just a few short months on ApeChain.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, 0xSimpleFarmer’s Clutch Puppies NFT project launched on May 15th. While it didn’t mint out immediately, in fact it took over a week. But that didn’t stop him from hitting the ground running and building.

 

Just four days after his colleciton’s mint began, he launched Clutch Markets on ApeChain inviting everyone to place onchain bets on everything from sports and politics to market trends and more.

 

 

 

Since then, 0xSimpleFarmer has kept shipping, launching Ape69, a trading style game where users bet on whether the price of major cryptos will be higher or lower in 69 seconds, with each loss burning $Ape. He also created a dApp called the Secret Santa protocol, designed to bring the joy of mints and pack openings to the chain year round. On top of that, he’s offered weekly bet rebates to Clutch Puppies holders and launched a trading group for collectors with 10 or more pups  that that been printing thanks to his calls!
