Pixel Vault’s United Planetary DAO is set to make an offer on one of the most coveted assets in the Yuga Labs ecosystem.

The UPDAO community approved of a proposal today that aims to acquire the Golden Key from the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s DooKey Dash. After vote, the DAO is now authorized to bid 690 Eth or $1,1130,000 USD on the #1 ranked Sewer Pass that is currently held by professional video game player, Mongraal.

“It's official,” the DAO tweeted after the vote. “The #UPDAO will be bidding on The Golden Key! Let's bring it home!”

At the time of this article’s publication, it is unclear if Mongraal will accept the UPDAO’s bid of 690 Eth. Currently, Mongraal has the #1 ranked Sewer Pass listed for 2,222 Eth or $3,650,000 USD.

While there seems to be some space between the DAO’s bid and Mongraal’s ask, we do know that the two sides have had conversations about a possible deal.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Pixel Vault Founder, GFunk, sent Mongraal a Founder’s DAO NFT Token last week and asked the professional Fortnite Player to chat.

Mongraal replied to GFunk and told him that his DMs are open.

“I appreciate the generosity,” Mongrral tweeted. “My DMs are open when you're ready to place a bid.”
