Racing’s past is speeding into the future this week as the Formula 1 world heads to Great Britain to race the historic track that started it all,  Silverstone Circuit, and everyone is invited to mint a free commemorative poster on ApeChain!

Things are anything but boring in the F1 world this week as the sport heads to the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury for the 75th annual British Grand Prix.

To celebrate this iconic event, Formula One team BWT Alpine and ApeCoin have teamed up to release a free onchain race poster that anyone can mint in seconds with just a Gmail, X account, or Apple ID!

“Silverstone isn’t just any race track. This is where racing was born 75 years ago,“ ApeCoin tweeted. “A win here makes history. Celebrate the origin of it all with our Official BWT  @AlpineF1Team 2025 Silverstone Race Poster, available now: https://alpine.apechaincollection.com

This week’s Alpine release marks the 12th collectible in the team’s ApeChain poster 2025 collection, and the artwork was inspired by Silverstone’s impact on Formula 1.

"Silverstone is the home of Formula One, having hosted the first ever f1 race back in 1950,” the Alpine team wrote. “And there's nothing more iconic at Silverstone than lashings of rain as the a525 rips through the British countryside…. Silverstone is the home race for many of us here at Enstone, it’s a brilliant track full of intense racing, especially when it rains. Which, as we are in the uk, tends to happen a lot. I used this line of thought to create a poster that reflects the intensity of racing in the wet.”

Remember, anyone can mint this posters in seconds thanks to Yuga Labs’ Glyph tech, which automatically creates an ApeChain wallet for new users. So spread the word to your racing frens around the swamp and outside it!

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow all things Alpine on ApeChain and will keep you updated on how the team performs at this weekend’s Great Britain Grand Prix. Stay tuned for updates!
