PAX IN PACKS: Pudgy Penguins Partners With Kakawow To Bring Fat, Flightless Birds To China's Trading Card Market!

No matter where you are or how you collect, Pudgy Penguins are in the cards!

On Wednesday, the brand announced that it, and more than 100 fat, flightless birds, are waddling into China's collectible card market through a new partnership with the nation's largest trading card brand, Kakawow.

“Collectible cards are one of the world's biggest entertainment categories, reaching hundreds of millions of collectors across the world,” Pudgy Penguins tweeted. “We're proud to join Kakawow alongside Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter, and introduce Pudgy Penguins, Pengu, and Web3 IP to a new audience.”

 

 

This first set will feature more than 136 licensed Pudgy Penguins from the community, along with chase cards featuring the brand's mascots, Pax and Polly, and even a 1/1 autograph card signed by Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz!

 

 

Today's announcement builds on years of success for Pudgy Penguins in the trading card space through Vibes, the popular trading card game from Orange Cap Games. So much so that those cards are now available in more than 2,510 stores across the United States.

 

With its new partnership with Kakawow, Pudgy Penguins Asia believes it can recreate some of that same magic in the Middle Kingdom!
