PEOPLE POWERED POSITIVITY OVER PINTS: Del Mundos Co-Founder Benny Meets Smudger IRL To Hand Deliver His JewelleRay Pendant!

Across the pond and just east of London, at a local pub dubbed the Forest Tavern, one of the Del Mundo’s largest holders met up with one of the project’s founders to pick up the physical JewelleRay he won and talk People Powered Positivity over pints and crisps.

After spotting familiar streets in a clip shared by the team, community member Smudger joked in Discord that he was “just around the corner” in Forest Gate and suggested they meet up to hand off his “3” pendant from last month’s 3ditions auction and grab a beer.

To his surprise, co-founder Benny quickly took him up on the offer, meeting him on Tuesday to not only hand-deliver the pendant, but also gift him a Del Mundos sweatshirt and spend time talking about the project and life.

 

“We sat and chatted about the del Mundus, web3 and each other for about 2.5hours,” Smudger said. “I had a few bourbon and cokes and he drank 4 pints of Guiness. We shared a pack of salt and vinegar crisps. It was a brilliant experience to have a founder of a project take time out of his busy day to meet with me.”

 

Even before meeting Benny, Smudger had been bullish on everything Ray Del Mundo. From the unique art and provenance to the project’s mission of making the world a better place, he has accumulated 79 Rays since the January 2026 mint.

 “I am a big fan of what the team is building,” he said.

 

After hanging out with Benny, Smudger says he’s even more excited about the project’s future and hopes others will check out these quirky characters.

“ It was brilliant to have that time with Benny,” Smudger said. “He is a really great guy, very personable and very passionate. I felt energized by our conversation and will work even harder to encourage good communities and founders to join the Mundos.”
