Reload, re-Ape, and get ready for round two!
Last year, Bored Ape Yacht Club members went to war on the paintball fields during ApeFest Las Vegas. This year, they’re running it back for the club’s flagship event down south in Charleston, where you’re invited to pew pew with your fellow primates at this community led event!
“Bored Paintball Club is back by popular demand,” the event’s lead ApeWhale tweeted. “This time, we’re taking the pew pew to Charleston during ApeFest. Friday morning. October 16th. Limited spots. Come pew pew, connect, and have some fun with your fellow apes.”
Last year’s inaugural Bored Paintball Club event brought Apes together away from the Strip for an unconventional side event, and this year’s edition has a shot at being even better.
“I wanted to offer something different from the typical event experience,” ApeWhale told the Gazette last year. “We all know that IRL is the alpha. The BAYC community is incredible, ApeFest is always a highlight, and the Mutants bring insane energy. Paintball felt like the right fit. It's a powerful team-building activity and an opportunity for people to experience real adrenaline together. I wanted apes to feel that rush and connect in a way that goes beyond the usual hangouts. My goal was to create something fun and memorable that strengthens bonds within the community.”
Whether you’ve played paintball before or have never picked up a paintball gun in your life, Apes of all experience levels are invited to sign up and hit the field for what will definitely be a Bored blast!
“It’s free, you get a free jersey and you get to play paintball,” ApeWhale said during Thursday’s Meet at the Clubhouse space. “It was a blast last year and I want to get some hype around ApeFest….be there of be square.”
