From the animatronics to the pizza, and the games to the ball pit, Chuck E. Cheese has always been a place where a kid can be a kid, but soon it may become a place where a Pengu can be a Penguin!

On Tuesday, Pudgy Penguins Head of Partnerships Steve Starobinsky teased that he’ll be meeting with a VP of Chuck E. Cheese at next week’s Licensing Expo after Huddle member Elizabeth shared a photo of herself with the big cheese himself while carrying a Pudgy Penguins duffel bag.

“I forwarded this tweet to the VP at @ChuckECheese and now we have a meeting at @licensingexpo next week,” Steve said. “Thank you for this amazing community as an extension of our biz dev efforts. Wanted to share this compliment with all of you. “yall are doing a tremendous job with the brand, I see Pudgy everywhere!!” -VP”

Tonight, we don’t know what will come from next week’s meeting. But we do know that the Pudgy Penguins have been steadily waddling deeper into the world of family friendly entertainment and IRL experiences lately.

As the Gazette previously reported, the brand recently placed its crane claw machines in Urban Air Adventure Park locations across America, putting Pudgy themed games in front of kids and parents alike and introducing a whole new audience to the fat flightless birds.

“On average an @UrbanAirParklocation gets 10k people a week,” Pudgy Penguins Head of Partnerships Steve Starobinsky tweeted at the time. “These claw machines are equal part billboard & revenue driver.”

The Gazette will continue to follow Pudgy Penguins and will let you know where the birds huddle up next. Stay tuned for updates!
